men in prayerEvangelism

Prayer is the backbone of any successful ministry. Believing God’s word and acting upon it is the door to seeing real miracles. Knowing God’s word is not enough, but knowing Him is the key to a personal relationship. When you know God, you will know His ways—and His ways are love and compassion to all who hurt.

God is calling Christians to recognize He is building His church as a caring, sharing and saving outreach to dying souls. He is using many who care about the lost to share His loving Word, raising up missionary leaders to reach a hurting world in need.

God is calling the church to give up its proud, arrogant attitude of “our way is the only way.” He is asking that we share with those who will die in sin unless help is sent to reach the nations of this world. Jesus said, “Inasmuch as ye have done it unto one of the least of these my brethren, ye have done it unto me.” (Matthew 25:40)

There is a hungry, needy, lost world of people out there whom Jesus loves and for who he died. If we will open up our hearts to share what Jesus has done for us, we can help change the lives of those who are headed for destruction. If we will not be the light of the world, the Lord will take the candlestick away.

Pretending the poor and lost do not exist is averting our eyes from the truth. Jesus said, “the poor you will have with you always,” but here at Wings of Faith·East we intend to do something to reach out to them. Will you join with us in ministering to them?

Wings of Faith·East is not just about airplanes. That is just a tool we use in reaching the world for Christ. Evangelism is and always will be our goal. We are a team of believers who are dedicated to the cause: “Real People—Meeting Real Needs.” Someone once said if you are giving a gospel track to a hungry person, wrap a sandwich in it.

Wings of Faith·East is reaching a world in need, conducting evangelistic services wherever we go in Appalachia and Native American Indian lands. We also help with disaster relief, assist in medical flights, and help missionaries around the world and here in our own backyard.

We are a professional missionary flying organization. We serve missionaries and those in need for the purpose of bringing hope and the love of Christ to a hurting and hungry world.

Evangelistic Films Ministry

As Christian missionaries it is our responsibility to evangelize. Wings of Faith·East will be starting our Film Ministry in August 2010. Beginning locations in Bloomfield and Welch, WV. We believe this to be a very effective method of presenting the gospel of Jesus Christ. Check the Events Calendar for upcoming film presentations.

Missionary Support

Wings of Faith Ministries Inc. headquarters, founded in 1975 has been helping with supplemental support to more than 20 missionaries located in Mexico, Central America, Africa, remote Native American Indian lands and various other areas for over 35 years.

Wings of Faith·East will be helping provide the basic needs of those located in the poverty stricken areas of Appalachia, very remote Native American Indians lands located in South Dakota and helping provide supplemental support to missionaries in the field. We also serve locally when called upon by those who chose to partner with us in His service.

Your financial support helps us to help others who have dedicated their lives to serve in some of the world’s most remote locations. By supporting Wings of Faith·East you are joining a team of volunteer Christian workers who reach around the world and across this Nation to bring the saving message of Jesus Christ. Many men, women, children and missionaries out there desperately need your help and we can get it there. We operate solely on faith and believe that all things are possible when we believe.

Building

Wings of Faith·East has partnered with local churches enabling us to provide experienced construction workers and labor volunteers ready to serve the Lord by helping with building projects that help those who haven’t the means to help themselves. Please contact us and explain your building project needs. Wings of Faith-East will come to you, physically review your project and respond accordingly.

Disaster Relief

Wings of Faith·East has partnered with local churches offering assistance to their existing disaster relief teams when called upon. Our plan is to organize our own disaster relief teams, trained, prepared and standing ready to assist not only in the remote areas we serve but all reachable areas in need as the Lord directs. This will require additional volunteers and special funding. With your help and Gods direction, all things are possible.

We are requesting that those interested in volunteer work contact us explaining their interest, expertise and availability enabling Wings of Faith·East to call upon you in the event of disaster. Serving with disaster relief teams can involve comforting, clothing, feeding, clean-up, building, reconstruction and medical assistance.

Christmas Airlift

Christmas Airlift NickThe Wings of Faith annual Christmas Airlift was started in December of 1975. There were but two Airplanes (Stinson 108-3 and a Cessna 182). The Airlift served a single missionary in San Quentin, Mexico. Approximately one hundred toys were delivered. Over the years, the Airlift has grown. In 2008, sixteen trips were made, delivering thousands of toys to 10 Native American Indian Nations.

In 2002, Dale was at a monthly meeting of the Corona Pilots Association and asked if any of the Pilots would like to take part in a Christmas Airlift. Six airplanes, full of children’s toys made two trips each to Yuma, one in November and one just before Christmas. The Airlift has become a Wings of Faith annual event and it is much anticipated each year by pilots & recipients alike.

Wings of Faith·East is currently planning our very first Christmas Airlift. This will be combined with Wheels of Faith·East ground operations beginning October 2010. This has been a very successful ministry for Wings of Faith Ministries and we believe God can do a marvelous and mighty work during this very special season.
